Sol Bilelló is a clinical psychologist with a systemic orientation, a philosophy teacher, and a specialist in Winnicottian theory. We talk about the theories of Donald W. Winnicott, focusing on their relevance for contemporary parenting and international law — particularly the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child. We touch upon the reciprocal influence between clinical practice and scientific theory, and we explore how Winnicott's concepts, such as the "good enough mother" and the importance of play in child development, can be integrated into modern therapeutic and legislative frameworks.
